Built Around the People Who Live Here
Solvaine came together from a simple question: what would thoughtful, unhurried care for a senior actually look like in Bangkok?
The Solvaine Story
Solvaine was founded in 2018 by a small team of care professionals and family advocates who had each, in their own way, faced the challenge of finding suitable residential care for an older person they loved. What they found — again and again — was a gap between what was available and what people actually needed.
Not a clinical ward, and not a hotel. Something more like a home — with enough structure to feel safe, enough warmth to feel welcoming, and enough professional expertise to handle whatever comes up.
The facility at Soi Ekkamai 12 was selected carefully: a neighbourhood in Watthana that is accessible for families travelling from across Bangkok, close to hospital facilities, yet quiet enough to offer a calm daily environment. The building itself was renovated to reflect the care philosophy — private rooms that feel like rooms, not units, and communal spaces that invite people to be together without requiring it.
Since opening, Solvaine has grown slowly and by intention. Every decision — how many residents to accept, how staff are trained, how families are kept informed — has stayed close to that original question. We believe the details matter, and we try to get them right.
Our Mission
To offer a residential environment where older adults feel genuinely at home — cared for with consistency, treated with respect, and never made to feel like a burden.
Our Vision
A Bangkok where families can find high-quality residential care that is honest about what it offers, accessible in its communication, and genuinely centred on the person receiving care.
Our Values
Dignity before efficiency. Honesty with families. Patience as a professional skill. Recognising that small acts of care — a familiar face, a remembered preference — are exactly as important as clinical competence.
Our Leadership Team
Anong Nakorn
Director of CareA geriatric nursing specialist with eighteen years of experience in residential and hospital settings. Anong established Solvaine's care protocols and leads the clinical team.
Prawit Thamrongsak
Operations ManagerPrawit oversees the day-to-day running of the facility — staffing, resident scheduling, family communication, and the many practical details that make a care home function well.
Siriporn Laosirirat
Family LiaisonSiriporn is the primary contact for families throughout a resident's stay. She coordinates care reviews, handles queries, and provides support during emotionally difficult periods of transition.
Our Standards of Care
These are the practices and principles that shape how Solvaine operates every day — not policies written for a brochure, but habits built over years.
Consistent Care Teams
Residents see the same faces each day. We deliberately limit staff rotation so that relationships can form and trust can develop — the foundation of any good care.
Individual Care Plans
Every resident has a written care plan that is reviewed regularly and updated when circumstances change. These are shared with families and adjusted through conversation, not unilateral decisions.
Regular Family Communication
Monthly written reports are sent to nominated family contacts for every resident. Our family liaison is available for calls and in-person meetings, and we aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
Privacy and Dignity
Personal information is handled carefully and shared only with those directly involved in a resident's care. Residents are always addressed respectfully and personal boundaries are observed as a matter of course.
Hospital and Specialist Links
We maintain established working relationships with several Bangkok hospitals and visiting medical specialists. When external care is needed, transitions are managed carefully with full communication at each step.
Nutrition and Wellbeing
Meals are prepared daily with balanced nutrition in mind, with rotating menus and accommodation for dietary preferences, medical requirements, and cultural food practices relevant to each resident.
Elderly Residential Care in Bangkok — A Different Kind of Setting
Solvaine sits in the Watthana district of Bangkok, a short distance from the BTS Ekkamai station and well-served by the city's main hospital network. Families travelling from within Bangkok, from other Thai provinces, or from abroad find the location easy to reach — and the facility easy to stay connected with once a resident is settled.
The facility accommodates a small number of residents across its three care programmes. That intentional scale means the team knows each resident well — their habits, their preferences, the things that make them comfortable, and the things that don't. It also means that when something changes, the response is prompt and personal, not filtered through administrative layers.
For families navigating the question of residential care — often for the first time, often under emotional and practical pressure — Solvaine aims to be a reliable, transparent presence. We don't use high-pressure approaches, and we don't promise outcomes we can't deliver. What we offer is attentive care in a respectful environment, communicated honestly at every step.
