What Choosing Solvaine Means in Practice
We're not the largest, and we're not the least expensive. What we are is careful, consistent, and genuinely focused on the people in our care.
The Advantages of Care at Solvaine
Small, Familiar Environment
A small resident group means every person is known as an individual. Staff know names, preferences, and daily habits without needing to consult a file.
Experienced, Stable Staff
Our team includes qualified nurses and care workers with backgrounds in geriatric settings. We invest in continuity — the same staff, consistently.
Open Communication with Families
Monthly reports, direct phone access to care staff, and a named family liaison — so you're never left guessing how your loved one is doing.
Individual Care Plans
No resident follows someone else's schedule. Each care plan is built around the individual and reviewed regularly — with the family as part of the process.
Hospital Network Access
We work with nearby hospitals and visiting specialists. Transitions to external care are managed end-to-end, with clear communication throughout.
Accessible Bangkok Location
Located in Watthana, near BTS Ekkamai, the facility is straightforward to reach for families visiting from within Bangkok or arriving from other cities.
A Team That Knows This Work
Care for older adults requires more than general medical training. It requires familiarity with geriatric health patterns, an ability to read subtle changes in a person's condition, and the patience to communicate well — with residents and families alike.
Solvaine's core care team brings between ten and twenty years of experience in residential and clinical elderly care settings. That background shows in daily practice — in how they manage medication routines, how they adapt to cognitive changes, and how they handle difficult conversations with families.
- Nursing staff with geriatric specialisation
- Experience with dementia and memory care
- Ongoing staff training and care protocol reviews
- Medical liaisons with Bangkok hospital partners
- Medical-grade beds with adjustable positions
- Room alert and call systems for all nursing residents
- Oxygen supply access within facility
- Climate-controlled rooms with comfort-focused lighting
Rooms Designed for Wellbeing
The physical environment matters. Solvaine's rooms are not adapted hospital wards — they were designed from the start with residential comfort in mind, while including the equipment needed to support more complex health situations when necessary.
The building layout, lighting choices, and room configurations were all selected with older residents in mind — minimising fall risks, reducing disorientation, and creating an atmosphere that feels calming rather than clinical.
Families Stay Informed and Involved
One of the most frequent concerns families raise is not knowing what's happening day to day once a loved one moves into care. At Solvaine, we treat family communication as a core part of our work — not a courtesy, but a responsibility.
Monthly written summaries, direct access to a named family liaison, open visiting hours seven days a week, and a team that returns calls promptly — these are not extras. They are how we believe care should work.
- Monthly written resident reports to families
- Named family liaison for each resident
- Open visiting policy, daily 9 AM – 8 PM
- Prompt response to enquiries within 24 hours
- Monthly pricing with no hidden facility charges
- All meals, housekeeping, and laundry included
- Care plan adjustments at no additional cost
- Transparent discussion of costs before commitment
Clear Pricing, No Hidden Costs
Residential care pricing can be opaque. Solvaine sets monthly rates that include the main services a resident needs — meals, housekeeping, laundry, basic wellness monitoring, and care coordination — so families can plan without uncertainty.
Before any resident moves in, we walk families through what is and isn't covered. We'd rather discuss it clearly at the start than have questions arise later.
A Stable, Supported Daily Life
Care outcomes aren't always measurable in figures. What families consistently describe, once a loved one has settled at Solvaine, is a sense of relief — the kind that comes from seeing someone in a stable environment, with people who know them, following a routine that makes sense for who they are.
For many residents, that stability — alongside appropriate medical and nursing support — contributes to a noticeably better quality of daily life than they were experiencing before.
- Structured daily routines tailored to each resident
- Reduced carer burden for families
- Written observations shared with families after transition stays
- Continuity of care through changing health situations

What You Won't Find Everywhere
Departure Summaries for Transition Residents
At the end of a transition stay, we provide families with a written summary of observations and care suggestions. This is given freely — regardless of whether the family decides to return or not.
Flexible Entry — No Long-Term Commitment Required to Try
Our Transition Stay option exists specifically for people who aren't yet ready to commit to full-time residential care. A two-week to two-month stay gives residents and families the time to evaluate before deciding.
Care Level Can Move Up or Down
If a resident's needs change, they don't need to leave Solvaine and find a new facility. Our three programmes are designed to accommodate changing circumstances — and transitions between them are managed internally, with the family as a partner in each decision.
Support for Family Members Too
Placing a family member in care is emotionally complex. Our family liaison doesn't only communicate about the resident — they are also available to speak with family members who are finding the process difficult, and to point them toward appropriate resources if needed.
